Adding network printers from batch or .vbs script

Copy the below into a text file and save it with a .vbs extension.

When you are saving the file if you include a quotation marks in the front and end then it will save it with a .vbs extension, as shown below:

‘Script Created to Temp map printers to clients
Set objNetwork = CreateObject(“WScript.Network”)
Wscript.echo “This Script will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.”
objNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection “\\ST-Printer\Violet”
objNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection “\\\ST-Printer\Paige”
objNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection “\\ST-Printer\Channel”
objNetwork.AddWindowsPrinterConnection “\\ST-Printer\Rainbow”
Wscript.echo “Script Completed.”

**Change the location your printers or instead of ST-Printer you can replace it with the IP of your printer.**
